Participation in the Ise Tea Export Project

The Ise Tea Export Project was established as part of a collaboration between Mie Prefecture and Ise tea producers. In support of the growth and development of the Ise tea-growing region, the Project strives to expand export channels. Hagimura Seicha has participated in this Project since its establishment, and the Company’s President, Koshi Hagimura, currently serves as Vice-Chairman. Since its inception, the Project has actively pursued overseas sales channels in Dubai, Vietnam, and other locations, aiming to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by promoting Ise tea to the world.

Acquire international certifications and qualifications required for export

Overseas export involves compliance with a different set of rules for each country, and can require the acquisition of certifications and qualifications that often have strict screening standards. Since the 2010s, the Company has worked to acquire these certifications at the earliest possible stage, with a view to expanding our overseas operations.

Implementation of facilities and technologies
to cater to an expansion in exports

  • Latest airflow-type pulverizes
  • Matcha production lines equipped with particle size analyzers and other equipment
  • Air shower
  • Cleanroom facilities fully equipped with warm-water hand washing stations, etc.

We are also taking steps
to broadly promote Japan’s tea culture

Beyond product promotion, we actively work to promote Japan’s tea culture to the world. Led by the Company’s President, who holds an Enshu Sado School Shihan Instructor certification and is a certified Japanese tea instructor, we conduct activities that promote the Japanese tea ceremony across the world, including France, the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Azerbaijan, Vietnam, New York, and Mexico.
