Nestled at the base of the renowned Suzuka Mountain Range, a region famed for its exceptional kabusecha, Suizawa Town is home to our tea fields where we specialize in crafting tencha, the raw material for matcha, in addition to producing kabusecha and mogacha. We invite you to enjoy the products of Hagimura Seicha, tea made from the heart.

Matcha
Of the shaded tea leaves carefully cultivated under cover, we use only the finest leaves sourced from specially selected tea gardens. This is an exceptional tea featuring vivid green color, a rich aroma, and a mellow umami.

Suizawa
This usucha matcha is carefully stone-milled from tender, shade-grown tea leaves. Its vibrant green color, fragrance, and mellow umami spread gently on the palate.

Shisui
This thick-style matcha (koicha) is crafted from carefully selected shade-grown tea leaves, finely ground with a stone mill. This provides for a special cup of tea distinguished by its rich aroma and deep umami.

Okukirara
This tea is made using the okumidori cultivar, distinguished by its vivid and striking green hue. We use tea leaves with a high concentration of umami components as the raw material by extending the shading period with cold-weather netting beyond the standard duration.

Matcha stick
With its rich green hue, elegant fragrance, and full-bodied umami, this tea can be savored slowly. Available as a disposable, single-use pack, this product is easy to use and allows for hygienic storage.

Gyokuro
Premium gyokuro carefully cultivated under gyokuro shade structures and picked by hand with care. This cup offers an intense umami flavor, a vibrant green hue, and a lustrous sheen. Enjoy for a moment of relaxation that will put you at peace.

Kabusecha
Mie Prefecture boasts the largest production volume of kabusecha tea in Japan. Tea leaves cultivated in an area blessed by nature give off a strong fragrance and delicate umami flavor. Enjoy a familiar flavor that has long been a favorite among tea lovers.

Suizawa-produced kabusecha
We use a particularly high-grade tea leaf compared to other kabusecha products. A superbly balanced tea, blending the smooth umami of gyokuro with the refreshing clarity of sencha for a well-balanced cup. This tea was presented at the Daijosai ceremony when the Emperor ascended to the throne.

Kabusecha
Carefully limiting sunlight exposure allows the tea leaves to cultivate a rich umami over time. Enjoy a special cup that gently envelops you with its elegant umami and softly unfolding fragrance, offering a moment of calm and contentment.

Sencha
This sencha was crafted from the year’s very first harvest. From more than 47 hectares of company-controlled tea gardens, only the earliest-sprouting and highest-quality tea leaves are selected for use.

First-picked sencha
Cultivated in rich, well-drained soil on alluvial fan landforms, this tea offers a superb balance of color and aroma, and is made using carefully selected leaves from among approximately 110 hectares of tea fields.

Jo-Houjicha (premium roasted tea)
Boldly aromatic and expertly roasted, our “Jo-Hojicha” is distinguished by an exceptionally deep fire treatment, a rare level of intensity in today’s tea scene. A distinctive cup that harmoniously blends refined elegance with a bold depth of flavor and satisfying umami.

Jo-Houjicha
Carefully roasted over time, our hojicha delivers a mellow, toasty aroma and a soft, comforting flavor that resonates within. The ideal drink for a relaxing time to put the mind at ease, both before and after meals.

Genmaicha
We gently roast top-grade Japanese brown rice locally, drawing out a rich, toasty aroma. Our “Premium Genmaicha with Matcha” blends high-quality matcha to deliver a graceful fragrance and deep umami in perfect harmony for a truly one-of-a-kind tea experience.
